Motorhomes
Oh the life in motorhomes! People who have them love them and don’t want to
be without them. Even a lazy week-end trip to the mall can be a lot more fun in a motorhome. While the girls are shopping, dad can be
laying back in the motorhome watching the ballgame or a movie, sipping a cool drink and having snacks.
Don’t knock it till you’ve tried it. And for travel it’s the tops. No more having to make reservations for rooms and restaurants.
You have your comfortable home with you. Join The Ranks of Full Time RVers!!
For vacations they can’t be beat, but more and more people are using them for business travel. Some even have their office right
in the coach.
They come in all different sizes and floor plans and decorator colors. Look at many before you purchase so you will be happy with
the color schemes and layouts and you can get the most out of it for your family and/or lifestyle. ..
Some have large showers and garden tubs; some come equipped with washer and dryer, some have large underneath storage and built in
bar-b-cue grills. Microwaves and freezers with ice makers and satellite TV and stereo sound systems are all common now.
Many have electronic panels that keep you posted of everything like when you need to start looking for gas, empty your tanks, fill
up with water etc. Yes, welcome to the modern age of RV travel. There is nothing like it.
There are many models on the market to choose from. Some of the most reputable brand names are Fleetwood, Newmar, Winnebago, Thor,
Southwind, and too many others to mention. Shop around and check them all out till you find one that fits your life.
Motorhomes are the perfect way to retire for baby boomers who now want to travel and see the country. Even with gas prices on the
rise it’s still a good deal for two people because they have their rooms and food and everything they need with them.
Make sure when you are checking them out that you drive different sizes and see which ones handle best for you. You may decide to
go with a 30 foot instead of 40 just for the ease of maneuverability. And it’s easier to find
campgrounds in some area for the shorter ones.
Keep it clean and with the size of it you may need to invest in some extendable wands for cleaning. Some of the top motorhome
owners are recommending a product called The Solution for ease of cleaning without water.
Make sure the awning is one you can easily handle and most of them are. Don’t be intimidated by the size. Once you drive it a few
blocks you’ll feel at ease.
If you’re buying one for the first time you may want to rent one first. Then imagine how nicer it would be if it were yours and
you could furnish it like you like. They go from about 25 feet to 45 feet. Find which one fits you best.
Whether you plan on living in one full time or just using it for travel, there is a lot to be said for today’s
motorhomes.
